TRAVEL
As an influencer and content creator, I've had the privilege of curating a platform that blends fashion, beauty, travel and wellness.
Mallorca had been sitting high on my travel list for the last few years. I had been seeing it all over pinterest, instagram, travel articles… you name it, and I had seen it. We ended up adding 4 nights here after our South of France trip. Mallorca was definitely the go-to hotspot this year and I don’t see that changing in the near future. Everyone from Hailey and Justin, Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Michelle Obama and Cristiano Ronaldo were all there. dyingggg.
To say it exceeded my expectations would be an understatement! I fell completely in love. We stayed for four nights (which was definitely not long enough), but managed to stay at a bucket list hotel, visit every restaurant on my list, hit up the Rhode pop up at one of the beach clubs, and take in enough of the island to make me want to miss our return flight home.
In this guide, I’ll be sharing everything from how to get there and where to stay, to our favorite restaurants, beaches, and things to do…plus our exact 4-night itinerary. Whether you’re planning your first trip or looking for new spots to add to your Mallorca list, this post has you covered!
To get to Mallorca, you’ll be flying into the island’s main airport, which is located just outside the capital city of Palma. Depending on where you’re coming from, there are several convenient ways to get there:
Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI):
This is the island’s main international airport, and it’s well connected with most major cities in Europe. In peak season (summer), there are often direct flights from the U.S. to Palma via airline partnerships or layovers in cities like Madrid, Barcelona, or London.
We flew direct from Nice to Palma which was super easy. Once we landed, we picked up our rental car and headed into Palma for our first night on the island.
If you’re already in Spain and want to make it a scenic trip, you can take a ferry from cities like Barcelona, Valencia, or Dénia to Palma. It’s a longer journey (typically 6–8 hours), but some people opt for an overnight ferry to wake up on the island.
Mallorca is a fairly large island, so I recommend renting a car especially if you’re planning on exploring multiple towns/beaches. The roads are scenic and fairly easy to drive, and having a car gives you the freedom to visit hidden coves, beach clubs, and mountain villages.
We booked with Sixt. They had an office eight by baggage claim. I got the car while Roman got the luggage so the whole process didn’t take long at all. They were even nice enough to upgrade us so we had a nice Audi sports car which made the drive around the island that much more fun.
We were so happy we rented a car and will definitely do it again next time we return. It was such a nice way to see the island, listen to music, stop whenever we wanted and to be on our own time.
1. Belmond La Residencia
Location: Son Canals s/n, 07179 Deià, Mallorca – Nestled in the Tramuntana mountains on the northwest coast of the island.
Description: I’ve had my eye on this property for years! Pinned, saved, vision board… all the things. It’s iconic, romantic, and full of understated charm. It was quite hard to find a reservation (book as far in advance as possible). We were only able to get 3 nights here which is why we stayed in Palma the day we arrived. The hotel is made up of two 16th-century manor houses, surrounded by olive groves and gardens, with sweeping views of the village of Deià and the sea. It truly feels like a peaceful, luxurious escape right in the heart of Deià. The views are absolutely unreal! A true bucket list stay! Tip: Ask if there are any upgrades available upon arrival. We ended up touring 3 different rooms that were open and got an insane upgrade for a very very great price!
Amenities: Two outdoor pools, award-winning spa, art gallery, complimentary boat excursions, and home to the famous El Olivo restaurant overlooking the mountains. This restaurant was one of the main reasons I wanted to stay here. They give hotel guests priority booking for the restaurant, otherwise the bookings open up 30 days in advance.

1. El Olivo
Location: Belmond La Residencia, Deià
Description: One of the most photographed restaurants in the world! It’s all over Pinterest and instagram and truly lives up to the hype! A romantic terrace set among olive trees and candlelight with breathtaking views. Mediterranean fine dining. Tip: Take the first seating and arrive early. They let us pick our table when we arrived and were lucky to get something towards the front in the shade. The sun is very hot and sitting right by the edge is pretty but everyone who sat there eventually asked to move in the shade. The iconic photo spot is towards the back of the restaurant at the top of the sairs. Just about everyone got up at least once to take photos here. I must’ve gotten up 3 times to take photos here – when we arrived, during golden hour and again once it got dark. It was stunning the entire night! I opted for the vegetarian menu which required 24 hour notice and it was one of the best tasting menus I’ve ever had!

2. Cas Patro March
Location: Cala Deià
Description: Famous for a reason! Perched over the sea with impossibly clear water views and freshly grilled seafood. Rustic, scenic, and unforgettable. Get the goat cheese salad and the prawns!
How to get a reso: Reservations June-August can be a challenge. Reservations open up on their website exactly 10 days ahead of time at midnight local time (Mallorca time). There are two seating options. First row or second row. The spots go so fast- most of the time they are gone before you can finish entering your information. I did this 3 days in a row and from my experience it’s best to take whatever you can get (if anything) and then keep refreshing over and over in hopes someone gives up a reservation or take too long to check out. I did this and ended up getting a front row at 12:30pm. That being said, we saw a lot of people lined up outside the restaurant before it opened and if they didn’t have a reso they got sat towards the back or was told there would Regardless of where you sit, the views are amazing and so is the food. Highly recommend!! It was my favorite lunch of the entire trip!

Just to note: the hotel does not allow phone use in any of their restaurants or bars.

5. Restaurante Miró
Location: Belmond La Residencia, Deià
Description: Located right next to El Olivo. A more relaxed yet elegant spot overlooking the hotel’s sculpture garden, featuring Mediterranean dishes with a focus on fresh, local flavors. We landed in Palma and picked up our rental car from Sixt. It was located right by baggage claim. Honestly, we got our car in the time it took for our bags to come out. Just make sure to pre-register online before you pick up to save time. Our first night was spent at Sant Francesc Hotel Singular right in the heart of Palma. After settling in and freshening up, we headed out to Sea Club at Cap Rocat. The restaurant’s cliffside views and breezy Mediterranean vibe set the perfect tone for the trip. Dinner was delicious and relaxed. It was the perfect first night!
We started the day with breakfast at Lili’s in Palma, a healthy little spot where I loved the matcha and avocado toast. perfect fuel for a day of island adventures. After breakfast, we drove to the Belmond La Residencia for an early check-in. From there, it was straight to Gran Folies Beach Club for lunch and to chill by the sea. This was one of the buzziest spots on the island since the Rhode pop up was going on but even without that it is one of the most vibey and cool spots. Back at the hotel, we took advantage of the rooftop pool and soaked up the views before getting ready for dinner. That night, we drove to the charming village of Valldemossa and dined at De Tokio a Lima. The hotel it’s at is absolutely stunning! I looked into staying here and I know we would’ve loved it. Highly recommend!
Breakfast was at the hotel, slow and easy before heading out for lunch at Cas Patro March. In the evening, we returned to Belmond La Residencia for dinner at El Olivo, one of the most gorgeous restaurants I have ever seen. The whole experience felt so romantic and an absolute must!!
We had breakfast again at the hotel which was incredible. Then I spent the morning lounging by the hotel pool while Roman went off to the Rafa Nadal tennis academy. Roman played tennis professionally for a long time so this was a place he really wanted to visit and I honestly prefered to skip the hour drive and enjoy the pool at the hotel. He came back just in time to have lunch at the hotel before enjoying dinner and cocktails at Bar Miró and Restaurant Miró (both located at Belmond La Residencia). The food and drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was lively and elegant. It was the perfect way to wrap up our Mallorca trip!
Our flight departing was at 7am which meant waking up at 4am to leave the hotel by 4:30. We were about an hour from the hotel and needed to return our car before checking in at the airport. Definitely regretted the early morning departure and was trying to convince Roman the night before that we needed to stay an extra day! haha
We left this magical island wanting more and I can’t wait to go back!
xx
